Artists Guild Hosts Benefit Show for High Peaks Hospice | News, Sports, Jobs

SARANAC LAKE – The Adirondack Artists Guild will host “Passage,” an art exhibition to benefit High Peaks Hospice during the month of January. Each member will present one or two pieces in a silent auction for visitors to bid on. At the end of the month, the Hospice will inform the highest bidders of their winnings.

The show will be posted on the Artists Guild website, adirondackartistsguild.com. Those wishing to bid may call the gallery at 518-891-2615 to bid during opening hours. Gallery visitors can bid in person.

There will be no official reception for the show, but representatives from High Peaks Hospice will be at the gallery from 4-6 p.m. on Friday, January 7 to welcome visitors and open the auction. Masks are mandatory in the gallery.

The Adirondack Artists Guild is a cooperative art gallery representing a diverse group of artists residing and working in the Tri-Lakes region of Adirondack Park. The gallery is located at 52 Main St., Saranac Lake. Starting in January, the gallery’s hours are Wednesday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
