Creedence Clearwater Revival’s John Fogerty to Play Benefit Show at Amway Center in Orlando in November | Orlando Music News | Orlando
Former Creedence Clearwater Revival growler John Fogerty will travel to Orlando in November to pay a musical tribute to healthcare workers and first responders who have lost their lives to COVID-19, dubbed the “Charity Pros for Heroes Tour”.
The tribute is paid by “Charity Pros for Heroes”, a non-profit organization based in Fort Myers. Proceeds from the show will go towards scholarships and grants for children whose first responder or healthcare worker parents have died due to COVID-19.
Fogerty headlines the Amway Center on Tuesday, November 23 with a set loaded with both CCR and solo material, and Cheap Trick rounds out the lineup. It is one of three shows in Florida with Fogerty that the charity puts in place.
“Every day we learn the incredible stories of children across the country, who are coping with the effects of losing their parent,” says Megan Maloney, founder of Charity Pros. “These heroes go to work on the front lines every day, during our Too many people gave their lives to protect us from the very fate they ultimately suffered, COVID-19.
Tickets will go on sale Friday, September 10 via the Amway Center.
