John Fogerty of Creedence Clearwater Revival to perform benefit show at Amway Center in Orlando in November

Former Creedence Clearwater Revival growler John Fogerty will travel to Orlando in November to perform a musical tribute to healthcare workers and first responders who have lost their lives to COVID-19, dubbed the “Charity Pros for Heroes Tour “.

The tribute is organized by “Charity Pros for Heroes”, a nonprofit organization based in Fort Myers. Proceeds from the show will go towards scholarships and grants to children whose parents of first responders or healthcare workers have died from COVID-19.

Fogerty hits the Amway Center on Tuesday, November 23 with a CCR and solo-rich ensemble, and Cheap Trick rounds out the lineup. This is one of three shows in Florida featuring Fogerty that the charity is putting on.

“Every day we learn the incredible stories of children across the country who are feeling the effects of losing their parents,” says Megan Maloney, Founder of Charity Pros. “These heroes will be working on the front lines every day, during our Too many of them gave their lives to protect us from the fate they ultimately suffered, COVID-19.

Tickets go on sale Friday, September 10 through the Amway Center.
