MCDANIEL: The Democrats devour theirs. Here’s one way Republicans can benefit

Skyrocketing food prices, the gas crisis from the early 1970s, a wave of violent crime, an open border: the Democrats have caused or amplified every crisis we face today, and here at the RNC, we hold the Democrats accountable. While we argue against the left, Democrats are more focused on fighting within their own ranks.

Ask Joe Manchin, who has become progressives’ public enemy number one.

On Monday, former Bill Clinton Labor Secretary and prominent Democratic commentator Robert Reich openly called for the removal of Senator Manchin from the Democratic Party.

When asked in December, Sen. Mitch McConnell noted that if he switched parties, the West Virginia senator might “be more comfortable” joining our conservative movement. (RELATED: SHEFFIELD: Mighty Joe Manchin holds the line again against Dems’ destructive program)

It’s not just about Manchin. It is the fact that the Democratic Party today has no room for people who do not adhere to its most extreme policies. That’s why people are leaving it in droves. Over the past year, more than a million voters have switched from Democrat to Republican ahead of November’s midterm elections.

Hispanic Americans are dropping out of the Democratic Party at a historic rate, and polls now show roughly half of Hispanic voters would vote Republican — a groundbreaking shift highlighted by Rep. Mayra Flores’ recent victory in a deep blue swath of southern Texas.

It’s not just Hispanic voters. According to the wall street journal, black American support for Republicans has more than doubled in the past year and there are more than 160 black Americans who have filed as Republicans this cycle. Meanwhile, President Joe Biden’s approval ratings continue to fall, with about 2 in 3 voters disapproving of his handling of the economy.

The Democrats are failing the American people because they have rushed to extremes. Meanwhile, Republicans are building a broad and diverse coalition.

I’m going to give you an example. Last October, the RNC opened a brick-and-mortar community center dedicated to Hispanic outreach in San Antonio, Texas to connect with locals, register voters and host events. First Lady Jill Biden visited that same city in July, spoke at an event called the “LatinX IncluXion Summit,” and compared Hispanic Americans to tacos before flying back to Washington. Do you see the difference?

There’s a reason only 24% of Hispanic voters approve of Biden’s performance in office. Republicans offer solutions and Democrats offer condescension.

At this point, who wouldn’t want to jump from the sinking socialist ship of the far left? Requiring elected officials to blindly vote the party line – then attacking them in the press if they disagree – leaves you with a weak and radical movement incapable of presenting popular policies.

Democrats are learning that the hard way right now.

If you’re a Democrat who doesn’t believe in the Green New Deal, unrestricted abortion, and spending more money than inflation on the kneecaps of families, Joe Biden, Chuck Schumer, and Nancy Pelosi will be happy to get you off the island. Republicans see things differently.

If you’re an American who wants to pay less at the pumps, supports our police and loves this country, we have a place for you.
