Stabbing Westward, Combichrist and More to Perform Benefit Show for Pigface’s Charles Levi
According to Facebooka charitable benefit, My life with Thrill Kill Kult, will take place today, April 15, at the Chicago Metro to celebrate and support Charles Levi, legendary Chicago musician and bassist who struggled with health issues. Stabbing Westward, Combichrist, Chris Connelly and Martin Atkins are some of the artists performing that day along with many other heavy hitters in the lineup.
Combichrist, who just dropped their recent video release for “Not My Enemy,” will present an old-school electro set. The event will also feature an all-star band with Project .44’s Louis Svitek and Duane Buford.
Levi was hospitalized Oct. 2o21 after being found unconscious on the floor, according to mxdwn, which adds, “His GoFundMe details the various resulting medical issues and his dire financial situation.”
Stabbing Westward has done other charity work covering The Beatles’ “Come Together” alongside other artists to raise funds for UNICEF Ukraine. Their last album Chasing Ghosts, reviewed by mxdwn, was their last in over two decades.
